OVERVIEW OVERVIEW GOES HERE PERSONALITY Who doesn’t know the name of Tony Stark? He’s a billionaire, inventor, and genius. He made a name for him long before the Avengers came into being. He took on several super villains and defended the world many times over. He is Iron Man. However, not many people know Tony Stark. Fostering a life-long desire to “fix the world”, Tony Stark is incredibly driven and motivated to do whatever it takes for everyone to achieve a better future. He spends his time studying new trends, devoting his energy into the Avengers, often neglecting his company and everything else towards his singular goal. To him, there’s nothing more important, nothing more essential than to devote yourself to righting all the wrongs in the world. This comes from a strong sense of guilt and his own personal failures that he is still dealing with. Because of this, while he has moments of arrogance, it’s tempered strongly by his past and his overwhelming desire to find the best way to solve the problems in front of him. He does his best not to ever let ego get in the way of the work. He’s also more than capable of acknowledging and admitting his own mistakes, sometimes to the detriment to his own self-worth and self-esteem. That being said, he walks the fine line of not being consumed by these feelings. He has achieved a large amount of personal growth in his time as an Avenger. He started the team himself, financing and leading them. First this came out of a sense of control and desire to do better as a group, but slowly they taught him as well to loosen his grip, to be more accepting and understanding. To recognize that fixing the world doesn’t always come at the end of a blaster or a fist. When he is mind controlled by Purple Man, Tony even comes to recognize that privilege and power as Tony Stark is just as dangerous as any Iron Man suit or weapon he could produce. So, he finally steps down. He cedes control even though it’s the hardest thing for him to do. He’s still paranoid and cynical at times, but he also truly believes in the ideals he’s fighting for. He’s fighting for the future. But he won’t do it alone or think he is the sole arbiter. Now, he’ll always fight together as one. With his team. With others. ABILITIES ABILITIES GO HERE
